These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Saint Vincent's Dental Center website and your relationship with our practice. By using this website or receiving care at our offices, you agree to these terms.
1. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not dental or medical advice and is not a substitute for an examination, diagnosis, or consultation with a licensed dental professional. Appointment requests submitted through our website are not confirmed appointments until a member of our staff contacts you to schedule them.
2. Appointments, Cancellations & Missed Visits
We ask that you provide advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, so that we can offer the time to another patient. Repeated missed appointments or cancellations without adequate notice may result in a fee or may affect our ability to continue scheduling appointments for you. Our current notice requirement and any applicable fee will be provided to you by our office.
3. Payment & Insurance
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. As a courtesy, we may submit claims to your insurance carrier, but you remain financially responsible for any balance not covered by your plan, including deductibles, co-payments, and non-covered services. Coverage estimates are not a guarantee of payment by your carrier.
Please note: we do not accept Medicaid.
4. Treatment Consent & Acknowledgment
Informed consent is obtained before treatment begins. We will explain the risks, benefits, and alternatives to any proposed treatment, and you are encouraged to ask questions. Patients are responsible for following the agreed treatment plan and any home care or post-operative instructions provided, which are an important part of a successful outcome.
5. Text Messaging (SMS) Program Terms
By providing your mobile number, you agree that Saint Vincent's Dental Center may send you appointment reminders, scheduling messages, and practice updates by text message from 908-641-2833.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or treatment. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
This SMS program is only available to individuals 18 years of age or older. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

6. Privacy & HIPAA Compliance
Patient information is protected in accordance with HIPAA and applicable state law. We share information only as permitted by law or with your authorization. While we maintain safeguards to protect your information, no system is entirely immune to unauthorized access. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Office Conduct
We are committed to a safe and respectful environment for our patients and staff. We ask that patients and visitors treat our team and other patients with courtesy. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services in cases of harassment, abusive or threatening behavior, intoxication, or repeated non-compliance with practice policies.
8. Modifications to These Terms
We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes are effective when posted to this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the website or our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of this website will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
